Do our photos come with an album?
I offer an album as an extra option. The nature of my photography means I take a lot of photos. As a
result, I’ve developed packages around the option of separate prints only and album packages. I’ve
also noticed over the past few years many couples want to choose their own album and arrange the
photos in their own manner. Prints are given in a presentation photo box for safekeeping.

If we take the album option, how does it work?
There is a selection of contemporary, hand made albums to choose from. These are approximately 36
pages, so would allow for either 36 or 72 photos depending if you want one photo per page, or per
side. You choose the photos from the selection and I place them in the album in the order directed by
you. There is an extra £200 charge for the album option.

Do we have to collect our photos?
No. If you live locally I deliver them by hand. Otherwise they’ll be sent in protective packaging via
Royal Mail special delivery. This means they are fully insured and guaranteed to arrive anywhere in
mainland UK before midday. There is no extra charge for this. However, I strongly recommend the
use of a carrier such as UPS or DHL for international deliveries. These are charged at cost.

Can we pay you by the hour?

I charge per package, not by the hour. Regardless of how long the ceremony, reception etc. lasts. I
also only photograph one wedding a day. As timings almost always over run I could never risk being
delayed getting to another wedding. This means that I give you a full, dedicated service.

If we book you for the evening event, how long do you stay?
I always stay to photograph the first dance. Following that, I usually capture most of the atmosphere
within the first hour. However, if there’s a particular part of the evening you want me to photograph
e.g. fireworks, then I’m happy to stay longer.

Our ceremony and reception is at the same location, is there a difference in cost?
The package price remains the same. I don’t charge extra for travelling between locations and give the
same amount of photos, so my costs would be the same.

How many group shots do you recommend?
Given time constraints, I will photograph as many or few as you like. However, I would urge you to
keep them to a minimum e.g. no more than ten or so groups (not including shots of the bride and
groom). Experience has taught me that it takes approximately 30 minutes per ten groups. Guests tend
to find waiting for long lists of group photography frustrating and often wander off leaving someone to
chase after them. Also, this approach leaves me to focus on photographing a more natural record of
your day, and allows you to spend time with friends and family.

What cameras do you use and are they digital?
I use Canon’s excellent, professional digital EOS range. These produce 35mm equivalent size prints and
ideal for the natural style I specialise in. Along with a wide selection of fine lenses, they are the choice
of many of the world’s leading professional photographers and photo agencies.

Do you back up our photos during the day?
Yes, I always carry a laptop and download my cameras images to the computer at least once during the
day – normally during the main meal.

Do you have back up equipment?
I always take at least two of everything to every wedding. I also carry over half a dozen lenses.

How long after the wedding will we have to wait for our photos?
They’re normally ready by the time you return from your Honeymoon, around 3 weeks. However, it can
take slightly longer during peak times (June-September).

Do we get to keep all the photos you give us?
Yes. All the final prints you receive are yours to keep, regardless of whether you choose the album
option.

Do we choose the photos to be uploaded on to your website?
Yes. You choose approximately 50 photos to be uploaded to the ‘Your Pictures’ section of www.leonreilly.com. Friends and family can view and order prints online. Access can be via a password
if desired.

Are you a member of any professional organisations?
Yes, I am a member of the Royal Photographic Society, the Guild of Wedding Photographers and the
Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. I have to abide by their rules and regulations.

What do you do about eating on the day?
I would only normally require a meal for a booking beyond the Gold Package. However, I do not expect
a meal with your guests at the wedding breakfast, and would be happy with food and a non-alcoholic
drink from the bar menu or equivalent.

We like your style of photography, but your packages do not cover what were looking for.
Not a problem. I’d be very happy to put together a bespoke package based around your needs for the
day. Just email me a few details and I’ll send you a written quote.

If you have a question not covered here, then please do not hesitate to get in touch.
